Odd twist reunites abandoned baby sisters after 38 years
In 1927 two baby girls were found abandoned in a car and later raised apart in Brooklyn. Police officer Joseph Crova later helped reunite them with discovery by Mrs Connie Piscopio who sought a birth certificate. Crova, now retired, revealed another sister, Mane Danielle, and a second search confirmed the other sibling. Both were adopted by separate families. neither set of foster parents knew of the sisterhood.

Mint workers to receive Christmas holiday break
The Philadelphia Mint will grant its 766 employees a Christmas holiday this year, their first in two years. A Treasury spokesman said the coin shortage had forced near nonstop operations since early 1964, but with shortages easing, workers will get three days off over the Christmas weekend, Friday to Sunday.
