State Auditor Lloyd R. Smith releases figures for Iowa State University's Hilton Coliseum for the year ending June 30. Receipts total 640,516 with operating costs 562,612 and talent costs 307,834. Additional income includes 394,898 in student fees and 63,685 interest. Bonds exceed 6.9 million. 348,000 paid in interest. first 1974 principal 40,000 and interest 351,152. Cash investments total 1,878,000. Auditor notes accounting controls for ticket sales should be tightened after discovering discrepancies between gate receipts and Coliseum records.

Salesman joins seed firm here
Donald R. Burrus of Fairfield has joined the Teweles Seed Company as district sales manager for southeastern Iowa. Burrus, a Memphis Missouri native and Northeast Missouri State College graduate, previously worked with JeFco in Fairfield. He will direct sales and service through farmer-dealer networks, working with district manager Ray Pedelty of Washington. The 109-year-old Teweles Seed Company is a subsidiary of Kent Feeds and operates in 11 midwestern states with worldwide licensing associates.

The Mississippi Society held its annual Christmas party at the Musserville United Methodist church educational unit with 53 members and guests.
