Despite cold weather Island Methodist church hosted a Ladies Aid social last evening with fancy and useful articles sold and an oyster supper. The Epworth League program was postponed due to absentees. Next Wednesday Olive Branch Literary Society plans a box social at the Olive Branch schoolhouse to fund incidental meeting expenses.
