Democratic suit seeks one man one vote in county committees

The Town Democratic Conference in Des Moines says it will sue the state Republican and Democratic parties to redraw county central committees to match the one man one vote standard from the Supreme Court. It argues that 858 Republicans in Precinct 26 Des Moines deserve more representation than 65 Republicans in Camp Township, though both areas now have two committee seats.
