City Council Special Session Confirms Light and Gas Rates
The Muscatine City Council held a special session December 4 1915 to discuss fuel and lighting matters. Porter of Muscatine Lighting Co presented a contract and gas and electric rates with early payment discounts. The council approved filing the contract and related ordinances and proceeded with a hay market location and street vacating actions while approving the ongoing improvement district plans.
