Rotary explores health center funding in Muscatine
Muscatine Rotary Club heard a progress report on the Muscatine General Hospital cardiac care center funded largely by Rotary. Funds to buy equipment are available, but hospital administrator JW Meyers says opening is unlikely soon due to trained personnel shortages, with a target to open in late 1973 or early 1974. The meeting also heard an Aging Commission appeal for local funds to qualify for federal matching funds.
