Fairport Residents to Get New Church
After a canvass by Rev. H F Martin pastor of Grace English Lutheran church a new English Lutheran church of about 1200 dollars will be built in Fairport with donations from supporters including Mitton Heinley who offers a lot. A mass meeting at the school tonight will organize a church society, adopt a constitution and elect officers. Nearby farmers gain a worship site as prior meetings were in the schoolhouse.

Claim agents of the Rock Island road gathered data yesterday on the death of Engineer O'Brien who was struck by a mail sack bar at Atalissa. A test train carried a dummy in the cab while photographers captured the bar from passing trains. The agents returned to Wilson to develop the pictures.
