Deep Sea Life Lecture Illuminates Ocean Bottom
Prof. C. C. Nutting of the State university described the sea bottom and its inhabitants at the Muscatine Federation of Woman's clubs lecture in the library auditorium. He noted depths of up to 5200 fathoms, tools like the sounding machine and dredge, and that light fades beyond 200 fathoms while colors and phosphorescent life persist.
