Terrorist Bomb Suspects Held At Jerusalem
Israeli authorities say they are working at feverish pace to round up leaders behind a wave of bombings that wounded nine Israelis and sparked riots against Arab residents in Jerusalem Sunday night. Sixteen Arab suspects arrested in connection with the explosions were remanded for a court hearing next week in Beirut, Al Fatah claimed responsibility, calling the blasts a minor sample of possible actions in retaliation for oppression of Arabs in Israeli-held areas.

Tour of Historic Galena Homes set for September weekend
The First Presbyterian Church presents its nineteenth Tour of Historic Galena Homes on September 28 and 29 in Galena Illinois. Six antique houses including Melville Parnell Van Dusko Hermann Strede and Miner houses will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with costumed hostesses and guides. The event features Galena attractions such as the Grant Home Old Market House and Vinegar Hill lead mine along with an art theatre melodrama and bus or rail access. Tickets are 3.00 each and advance reservations for the melodrama are encouraged.
