The Women of the Moose college of regents gathered Thursday evening at Isa bel Johnson’s house with nine members present. Irene Moomey chaired. several members thanked the group for hospital gifts. Money making projects were discussed and members are asked to donate savings stamps for a future project. Next meeting is Sept 19 at Virginia Jens’s home. Lunch was served and Verna McFadon won the prize in games.

Mr. and Mrs. William L. McGinnis of Columbus Junction announce the engagement of their daughter Marian Elizabeth to Dr. E. B. Marsolais, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest A. Marsolais of Iowa City. The wedding is set for December 21 in Iowa City. Marian McGinnis is a University of Iowa graduate now in biostatistics graduate study. Dr. Marsolais earned a B S and M D at the University of Iowa, with affiliations in Phi Eta Sigma Phi Beta Kappa Nu Sigma Nu and Alpha Omega Alpha, interned at St. Luke's New York, and serves as a resident orthopedic surgeon at the University Hospitals in Iowa City while finishing his doctorate in mechanics and hydraulics.
