Maennerchor Leaves for Dubuque Saengerfest
Twenty six members of the Maennerchor with their wives left the city this morning to attend the first Saenger fest of the New Mississippi Saengerbund in Dubuque from August 6 to 9. They arrive this evening for the opening banquet as two grand concerts are planned with soloists and a large massed chorus. The fest ends Saturday with a big picnic.
