Amos Kimberly Galled by Death in West Liberty
Amos Kimberly, a prominent West Liberty resident and wealthy Cedar County figure, died at his home at 11:30 PM from heart disease. Born December 21, 1847, in Austin, he moved to West Liberty in 1861 and resided there until 1908. He was married twice, leaving five children from the first union and four from the second. Funeral services will be Sunday at 3 PM at the Presbyterian church, with Rev. George Pumies officiating. interment at Olskriegs cemetery.

Neipert Case Settled in Iowa Court
The State of Iowa v Jacob Neipert was settled in Judge Carls court this morning. Neipert agreed to support his wife and child and posted a $500 bond. The information was filed yesterday by Mrs Neipert alleging non support. County Attorney Pepper argued for the state and Hanley and Son represented the defendant. Reynolds was arrested this morning by Constable Haney on a separate information filed Thursday by Adolph Rotter charging use of obscene language in the presence of ladies and others. The case is set for hearing Saturday at 9 oclock.

OWA farmer slain in quarrel. Abe Anderson jailed
