It favors the senate over the house and may become a special order early next week. The plan groups district bank interests for mutual welfare and could include deposit insurance via a state sinking fund. Henry Ford was moved from the Henry Ford hospital to his Dearborn estate where doctors say he can be treated at home. A bulletin reported he is making satisfactory progress with no complications though still in distress and required to lie flat on his back.
Negotiations were completed for consolidation of Richardson Drug of Omaha with Churchill Drug of Burlington Cedar Rapids and Peoria. Combined assets total about 3.5 million dollars. Four inches of wet snow blanketed portions of Iowa causing difficult highway travel as storms spread across the region.
