The South Salt Lake area mourns the sudden death of physician RrROW Bandy after a morning illness. Born June 14 1872 in Benton Ohio he was 57 and long served on the county hospital staff. He cared for residents across the valley and left many grieving friends and relatives including Robert V of Los Angeles Iran John W of Sandy and Walter W of San Francisco and Cullf.
Dairymen from Salt Lake County plan a countywide tour visiting purebred Guernsey herds Saturday October 12, starting at State Fair Grounds at 1 PM under Utah Guernsey Cattle Club officers. The tour features lenders from Murray and Union, a guest from the American Guernsey Cattle Club, and an evening meeting at Murray City Hall at 7:30 PM with remarks by Mra Michele W. Miller and Mr Robinson.

The Thornton Anderson Drug Co in Murray undergoes major remodeling to improve the fountain and lunch area and add space for the popular service. The second floor is redecorated and will house Wright and Jobson, expanding operations and inviting patrons to enjoy coffee and seating in a cleaner, larger space.
