Sudden Death of Two Children Shock Murray Family

Grain Growers Elect Chairman and Set Sales Goal

West Jordan Grain Growers met at the West Jordan School House and chose David T. Dahl as chairman. A four member committee including Jim Woods Seth Bloomister J H Jensen and Dahl was formed to visit Ogden to assess expected sales for the year. They anticipate selling about 95 000 bushels of wheat.

A large attendance filled the Ward House in Midvale for the Mutual Improvement Association Conjoint meeting. J Lawrence Meyers spoke on the M I A slogan while Miss Lorene Aylett played piano, Miss Helen Stokes read Kipling, and Miss Lillian Hart sang contralto. The event occurred Sunday evening with a 7:30 start. The schedule notes the Midvale Relief Society annual conference on February 13 at the L D S Chapel with all members urged to attend.
