Air Mail rate cut starts August first in reduced 5c first ounce

Postmaster details a 75 percent rate reduction for Air Mail, effective August 1, with 5 cents per ounce for the first ounce and 10 cents for each additional ounce. Registration at U shows rise in 1927 28 student body

Salt Lake county supplied 132 resident students for the University of Utah college year 1927 28. Extension and correspondence students added 156. Residents came from 29 states and seven foreign countries, with 30605 residents and total enrollment reaching a historic high. Idaho led outside states. Canada had the most foreign representation.
