Robert Grant 59 Dies at Veterans Hospital
Robert Grant of 1711 South 15th Street died at 11:30 last night at the Veterans Hospital in Marion Illinois. He was 59 years old and a World War I veteran. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday at Myers Chapel with burial at Williams Cemetery. The Veterans of Foreign Wars will manage the services. He is survived by his wife Artine Morris Grant, a son Robert A. Grant, three sisters and a half-brother plus three grandchildren. He was a retired farmer born May 30, 1889 in Jefferson County.
