Cledith E. Seets 48 of 2000 Richview Road died last night at Good Samaritan Hospital. He worked in the Montgomery Ward service department and moved to the city in May from southern Illinois. Funeral at Gibbons Funeral Home Herrisburg with burial in Sunset Cemetery. Survived by wife Clara Seets and three sons in Denison Texas, six grandchildren. Served with the Seabees in World War II. member of VFW American Legion and Masonic Lodge.

Thief Returns Stolen Money With Apology Note
In Seattle a thief who acted with a guilty conscience sent back money from a Colonel Theater robbery. The cashier had received $30, and an envelope postmarked Friday contained $33 with a note apologizing for the theft and claiming the money was taken unjustly.

Fire bomb threat saves Florissant church on Friday
Patrolman Bobby Matthews hurled a flaming fire bomb away from the suburban Florissant Episcopal church saving the building from damage. The gasoline-filled bottle exploded as he threw it, causing him several cuts on his right arm. A custodian at St Barnabas church alerted police.
