Noel E. Gregory 49 of 910 South 21st Street died at 1 20 p m Thursday at Veterans Hospital in Marion. He owned Gregorys City Service Station at 1401 Broadway and had been ill for some time. Funeral services set for 2 p m Saturday at Pulley Funeral Chapel with Rev Everett Lemay officiating. Burial Mt Vernon Memorial Gardens with Jefferson Post 141 American Legion providing military rites. He lies in state at Pulley Funeral Home after 4 p m today. Born August 27 1917 in Mt Vernon he married Venita Ellis September 17 1938 in Versailles Ky who survives. Also surviving are daughter Dianne Gregory of Springfield three brothers Lester Rohlin Lloyd and one nephew Guy E Beauford of Pompano Beach Fla. He was a World War II veteran and member of American Legion Post 1141 Mt Vernon.
