Two Mt. Vernon Residents Injured in Salem Crashes
Two Mt. Vernon residents Mrs. Susie Scrivner and her daughter Beulah Gilbert were recovering from injuries after a Friday night accident one mile east of Salem. Driver Bob Gilbert and another Scrivner daughter Delores Harvey were not hurt. The car struck a highway barricade and sideswiped Leo Young of Salem, leaving Scrivner with a broken right collarbone and a severely bruised left shoulder while Gilbert was badly bruised after being thrown from the vehicle.

Funeral rites for Aluna Scott held at Marlow church

Little Girl Bitten by Dog on East Jordan Street
