Soldier Delayed By Accident On Route 460
A soldier from Alaska en route to Fort McPherson Georgia to receive discharge was delayed yesterday afternoon after his 1941 Cadillac collided with a truck driven by William Clark of 601 South 12th Street. Five Men Die in Kansas City Gun Battle
Five men were fatally shot and two wounded in a Kansas City gunfight sparked by a routine police disturbance call. Three of the dead and the wounded were officers.
