Albert G Davenport age 58 years 7 months 29 days of 26 South 24th Street died at Jefferson Memorial Hospital He was a member of Flint Street Baptist Church Funeral services Sunday at 3:00 p m at the church Rev Otho Williams and Rev Flora will officiate burial in Flint Cemetery Friends may call Pulley Funeral Home after 2:00 p m Saturday At 1:00 p m Sunday the body will lie in state at the church He was born January 21 1898 in Belle Rive son of John L and Flora Wood Davenport He married Lillie Cremeens January 27 1917 in Belle Rive Surviving are his wife three sons Howard DeKalb Ill Jimmie Fort Riley Kan Harold Mt Vernon three daughters Doris Skinner Mattoon Ill Mary Ken Petersen Opdyke and Annabel Davenport Mt Vernon nine grandchildren two brothers Ted Davenport Belle Rive and Claude Davenport Lawrence Kan and a sister Mrs Carl Needstrom Skokie Ill He was preceded in death by his parents one son one brother and three sisters
