Louisa Williams Dies at Age 90 Funeral Friday
Louisa Francis Williams of Woodlawn died at 9 last night at her daughter’s home on South 15th Street. She was 80 years nine months and 12 days. Funeral services are set for Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Baptist Church with burial in I C O F Cemetery in Woodlawn. The body will lie at Myers Chapel until 1:30 p.m. Thursday then move to the family home. She was born December 7, 1869 in Arkansas, daughter of John S York and Martha Thompson. She married John H Williams, who died in 1939. Survived by two daughters Anna Ferguson and Iva Lowhone, a son Williard Ferguson, a step son Raymond Williams, a grandson Raymond Thompson, a half-brother Frank Knox, 19 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
