Two Jefferson County Truck Crashes Injure Two Drivers
Overnight accidents in Jefferson County left two truck drivers injured. Anthony G. Johnson, 27, of West Frankfort, was hospitalized in fair condition after his rig rear-ended Delma L. Sullins, 36, of Delight Ark, near the Dix inter change on I-57. Sullins was not hurt. A second crash near Mt. Vernon involved 1,900 cans of Pepsi overturning when power steering failed. Douglas R. Jameson, 25, of Wentzville Mo, was treated and released from Good Samaritan Hospital. Police supervised cleanup hours after the route 460 spill.
