Non-Stop Flight From Alaska to Oslo Sets Record

In Glenridge Illinois on September 19 the 145 UMW miners walked out. Of them 120 own stock worth 200 dollars each in the Marion County Coal Corporation. The cooperative mine, started in 1940, produced up to 1300 tons daily and funds welfare through its operating corporation.
