Survived by wife Ruby Franks Braddy, two daughters Betty Nordmark and Joan Dolling, one son William Braddy, his mother Irene Goddard, two sisters Edith Lang and Carrie Vasconcelos, and five grandchildren.

Investigators probe a blaze that destroyed a wooden exhibition hall at the Saginaw County Fair Grounds injuring at least nine. Three Cases Up In County Court
Ray Yost aged 70 pleaded guilty to vagrancy in county court and was sentenced by Judge Dale Andrews to six months at the state farm in Vandalia. Laura Lee Meredith 34, a colored resident, likewise pleaded guilty to vagrancy and was placed on six months probation. An information charging Rolland Williams 45 of Belle Rive with driving while intoxicated was filed, arraignment set for September 24 by Judge Andrews. The charge was preferred by state police.

Two Killed In Alton Accident On Humpert Road
In Alton Illinois two people died and a third was injured in a Friday night two car crash on Humpert Road north of Alton. The deceased were Arlie Greene 53 and David Malone 53 both of Alton. Injured was LaVerne Corder 24 of Hetick Illinois a Navy man stationed at Olathe Kansas Naval Air Station and driver of the other car. He was taken to Alton Memorial Hospital.
