Ora Lee Dinwiddie, 79, of Mounds City was found dead at 9 40 a m Wednesday at 310 Forest Ave County Coroner John Richardson ruled the death from natural causes authorities said.
Clyde Nichols Jr and his mother Nelle Nichols 79 died within 24 hours at White County Nursing Home in Carmi. Both residents and former Hamilton county residents. Clyde Nichols Jr died at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday and Nelle Nichols died at 6 a.m. today. Funeral services were pending at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
Peter Nero will headline the South Central Illinois Community Concert Association season for 1976 77 with a Nov 6 concert at Centrailia High School auditorium. The bill also includes Jan 29 Joffreys Ballet and March 14 Texas Boys Choir with a fourth concert to be booked after the membership drive. Adult memberships cost 12 50 and student memberships 7. renewals allowed for past members before new applications.
Police were told a $200 shotgun and $500 plus in coats were stolen. Bill McDonald reported three coats worth over $500 missing from his office at 213 S. 16th St with an estimated Sept. 4 theft. Alva Martin said a $200 Winchester 12 gauge shotgun and an $8 bottle of medicine were taken from his trailer Tuesday night.

Shriners of the Shrine Club of Redwood City California donated to Crippled Children’s Hospital in Redwood City and to the Kidney and Cancer Foundation in memory of Charles J Goodin of Mt Vernon who died July 18. Friends also contributed to the Kidney and Cancer Foundation in his memory.
