Body lies at Bluford Funeral Home after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday. She was born December 13 1894 in Wayne County. Survived by husband Roseo Noles son Olaf and five grandchildren. Preceded by parents one infant son and three sisters.

James Roy Upchurch of 1604 8th Street died 3:40 p.m. Monday at Good Samaritan Hospital at age 74. Rites set for 3 p.m. Wednesday at Myers Chapel with Rev. Frank Trotter officiating. Burial in Pleasant Hill cemetery. Survived by wife Selah, son Rev. James R. Upchurch, daughters Betty Boone and Bonnie Clark, a brother and four sisters, nine granddaughters and four great granddaughters. He operated a laundry for many years.

W. P. McGonigal 82 of Moberly Missouri died at Community Memorial Hospital at 8 55 p.m. Friday. He was father of J W McGonigal of Mt Vernon who died in 1965 and Jo Alice Me gonigal of Mt Vernon who survives. Burial was in St Marys Cemetery in Moberly Sunday. His wife Alice died in 1951. Survivors include two daughters Mrs Mary Claypool and Mrs Agnes Reynolds both of Moberly two grandsons Robert Claypool of Moberly and Allen McGonigal of Newark Missouri. He was preceded in death by another son.

Mr Vernon police investigated two thefts Monday. Lawrenceville resident Bill Dale reported nearly $400 in goods stolen from his car near Montgomery Ward in Park Plaza Shopping Center at about 5 30 p m. Items included a Smith Corona electric typewriter about $300 a pool cue $10 95 a car stereo tape $7 95 and a Wyler wrist watch $75. A windshield wiper and wiper assembly were stolen from a car on the Brehm Hanna Chevrolet lot at 1318 Salem Road over the weekend.
