The Hamilton county board cut salaries for county officials to 2400 dollars a year with new pay effective December 4 1930. The circuit clerk faced a 600 cut while the clerk’s office and others also saw reductions. Funds were reshuffled with 23180 returned to the T B Fund and 17000 borrowed to restore highway funds. The board approved a 321000 budget for the coming year and named appraisers for city land for a reservoir project.
