Randle Story, 73, of 1003 Warren Ave in Mt. Vernon, suffered a heart attack and fell from a ladder while painting his house. Found dead on arrival at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, funeral planned for Sunday at Hughey Pulley Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Bennett and George Shelton officiating. Burial at New Shiloh Cemetery.
Three hundred fifty reserved seats for Sundays Pittsburgh at St. Louis game were sold by the Greater Jefferson Chamber of Commerce to honor Jefferson County Day. Twenty five terrace boxes were set aside for county residents and 140 ticket holders will ride three air conditioned buses from 10 a.m. Sunday, with 70 of them Mt.
