Hold Bloodbank Meeting Tonight
The Jefferson county bloodbank recruitment committee will meet at eight tonight in the Red Cross chapter office at 226 S. 10th street. Chairman Mrs. Ewing Fisher leads a group including Mrs. J Nita Settlemire Allan Dulaney Mrs. Ethel Fitch Roy Holder Miss Alice Lacey and Roy Rash. They will discuss enlisting blood donors for the monthly bloodmobile visit and project a need for 75 donors per month. Blood will be stored in a special Red Cross refrigerator and furnished at no charge to two local hospitals for transfusions.
