Funeral services were held in Chicago for John E Bingemer 79 who built Mt Vernon first nickelodeon theatre and later the Plaza Theatre. He came to Mt Vernon about 1910 from Evansville Indiana and later moved away. Survived by wife Beatrice daughter Jean McNulty sister Mrs Charles Schroeder stepbrother Eli Schweikart half brother Lawrence Bingemer two grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
