The body to lie in state after 3:30 p m Tuesday. Born February 3 1863 near Bluford Jefferson county son of Thomas and Malissa Hunt Henry. Survived by son Howard Henry Mt Vernon daughters Bess Hart Evansville Lena Skinner Madison brother Jim Henry Mt Vernon fourteen grandchildren twenty six great grandchildren one great great grandchild. predeceased by two sons Pearl and Will.

Funeral services for William Logan Winkler of 801 George Street were held at 2:00 PM at Pulley Funeral Home with burial in Mt Olive cemetery near Bluford. He died from a self inflicted gunshot wound after eight years of poor health. He was born May 1, 1876 in Sacramento Illinois and was 76 years four months five days old. He married Osa McKinney in Mt Vernon on April 10, 1933, who preceded him in death. Surviving are a daughter Opal Reed and a brother Thomas Edward Winkler.

Sharon K. Roberts age 11 died Saturday at Deaconess Hospital Evansville Ind from bulbar polio. She was the daughter of Mrs. Mary Stahl and a niece of Mrs. Terry Egbert and Mrs. G R Robinson of Mt. Vernon. Sharon fell ill while visiting grandparents in Carmi and died within hours of hospital admission. Survived by her parents a brother Eddie Stahl and a sister Rae Lynn Stahl at home.
