Funeral services for Challis Eugene Powell, aged six, will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Myers Chapel with Rev. Ace Summers officiating, burial in Bethel cemetery. He died at 4:25 a.m. Tuesday at Good Samaritan hospital from burns suffered when his home at 1493 North Ninth was destroyed Sunday night. Survived by parents Robert and Virginia Powell four brothers Robert Jerry Gary and Sonny and one sister Sally.

Vernon resident, died at 8 40 p m Monday in St Francis hospital Peoria Funeral arrangements were in Peoria He was born July 27 1918 in Mt Vernon son of Reuben and Catherine Benton Stout He married Beverly Kautz June 1 1942 who survives Also surviving are two sons Dale and Frankie at home one sister Mrs Allen Pate of Peoria and three brothers Roy Walter of Mt Vernon and Homer of Peoria He was predeceased by his parents and one brother.

Four Accidents Here Yesterday One Driver Fined
