Two Collisions Here Five Cars Are Damaged
Five cars were damaged in two Mt. Vernon accidents on Tuesday. At 11:15 a.m. a collision at Tenth and Virginia involved Robert Morrison of Sigel Illinois Cleveland Center of Pine Bluff Arkansas and T A Teague of Monette Arkansas Teague was fined ten dollars and costs for driving too fast for conditions. Each of the three cars was worth over one hundred dollars in damage. A second collision at 12:45 p.m. in the 1000 block of Salem Road involved Virginia Cliningsmith of Casey Illinois and Archie Ferguson of 216 South 22nd Street with two cars sustaining more than one hundred dollars in damage. No injuries were reported.
