Harold E Belangee 60 of Route 2 Dahlgren died at 124 a m Tuesday at Jefferson Memorial Hospital He was a farmer Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p m at the Methodist Church of Dahlgren with Rev Rudolph Schlag Rev Ed Minor and Rev Mary Erwin officiating Burial will be in Odd Fellows cemetery at Dahlgren Friends may call after 6 p m today at Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren He was born Aug 11 1913 in Hamilton county to Roy Earl and Mary Brumley Belangee He married Hester Gage who survives Also surviving are his mother Mary Belangee Dahlgren a son Eddie Belangee Dahlgren and a sister Mrs Mamie Savage Dahlgren

Robert Kwiatkowski Jr and his wife Wilma Gargas welcomed an infant son born dead at Washington County Hospital Nashville. Funeral services were held at Hogan Funeral Home Ashley with Rev Jerome Hibner officiating. Burial followed at Our Lady of Perpetual Help cemetery Posen. Survivors include grandparents August Kwiatkowski Route 3 Nashville and Homer and Wilma Gargas Ashley.

Jones Charged In Jefferson County Jail Escape
Ralph Jones age 24 of 315 S 18th St charged with escape from Jefferson county jail on Oct 30 while awaiting trial on unlawful use of weapons. Bond set at 2000. Jones and Gary Corder 21 of 405 S 27th St also charged with escape and automobile theft. Both arrested in Lompoc Calif and held for Jefferson authorities. A third escapee Charles Bosley 16 of St Charles at large suspected of further car thefts the morning of the jailbreak.
