Halloween Pranksters Leave Truck Blocking Street
In Bluford last night pranksters rolled an old truck into a street about 9 p.m. causing a collision with a 20 year old Tamaroa man driving a new pickup. Gerald A. Melvin, the pickup driver, reported major damage to his vehicle. The other truck’s owner was not identified and the pranksters fled.

A Mt. Vernon woman, Dolores Jordan, 22, was hospitalized with a bullet wound near her right shoulder after her husband discharged a .32 caliber pistol at their home around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday. Police and fire crews assisted. she was listed in fair condition.
