Leo Morton Vest of Orchardville, aged 60, died Saturday at his home. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Jacob's Chapel, Rev. Lyle Armstrong officiating, with burial in Jacob's Chapel cemetery. He was born March 29, 1895, to Robert and Beatrice West. Survived by wife Edna Cable, three sons Gale Paul D and Jimmie, daughter Twila Bea, two brothers George and Ed, and sister Mrs. Orpha Mills.

Albert Woolson 108, last surviving Union Army Civil War veteran, was hospitalized early today in Duluth Minnesota with bronchial pneumonia.
