Funeral services set for Sunday 1 30 p.m. Hughey Pulley Funeral Home. Burial in Hopewell cemetery. He was born June 25 1912 in Jefferson County and married Faye Russell on August 29 1953. Survived by wife a daughter a stepdaughter a brother six grandchildren one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of United Mine Workers Local 9111.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today. Born January 2, 1899 in DuBois, he was the son of Josip and Josephine Shopinski. Survived by daughter Darlene Suggs of Benson Arizona and brothers Louis of Ashley and Mike of Mt. Vernon.
