He and wife Daisy ran Hinman Drug Store on the public square. Funeral Sunday 1 30 pm at Myers Chapel with burial at Elmwood Cemetery Flora. He born January 23 1895 in Clay County to Alvah and Belle Hinman. He married Daisy Harrison August 26 1915 in Clay County. Survived by wife one daughter Golden Hinman Mt Vernon one son James A Hinman Flora three brothers four sisters and five grandchildren.

An 18 year old Mt. Vernon Township High School senior charged with burglary of a coin box from Camp Ground School east of Mt. Vernon. John Wayne Minor admitted in a written confession to entering the school from his home, breaking a door with a rock, taking about $21, and tossing the box into a ditch. He said he spent most of the money at the high school and used the rest for gas, cigarettes, ice cream, and pool.
