Three accidents reported in rural Jefferson county early today. Harold M. Smith Route 1 Inc escaped injury when his pickup overturned on state route 37 about five miles south of Mt. Vernon after a car forced it off the road. Joe K. Neal 727 Broadway skidded on wet pavement on US 460 three miles west of Woodlawn Road and hit a Tri County Electric pole, breaking the pole and damaging the car. A large truck skidded off US Route 360 west of town with no injuries reported.
