Mr and Mrs Alvin Jones of this city received word of the death of Mrs Fred Caldwell of Titusville Pa. She died there on Thursday May 23 after a five day illness. She is the mother in law of Byad Bud Jones, son of the Joneses formerly of this city and now in Titusville. Her daughter Ms Imogene Jones has visited here often and has many friends in this city.

Keeping Office Open Late For Taxpayers
County Treasurer Kenneth Randall extends hours this week to aid taxpayers. The office in the courthouse will be open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. today tomorrow and Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday. Regular hours are 4:00 p.m. weekdays and noon Saturdays.
