Troopers Nab 11 Speeders by Air Patrol

Three Accidents In Mt Vernon Cause Over $400 Damage
Three accidents occurred in Mt. Vernon on Friday with damage over 400 dollars and no injuries. Edward Eisele Hanna City and Sharon Tate collided in the 1300 block of Shawnee street causing about 100 dollars damage to the Eisele car and roughly 100 dollars to the Tate vehicle. A truck driven by Gary W. Witzel hit a parked car owned by Roger Metre at 17th and Cherry, with both cars sustaining over 100 dollars in damage. A car rolled from a parking place on North Third Street and struck the Join Donoho Welding shop. damage to the Smith car was not heavy. Police charged Witzel with careless driving.
