Grace Vaughn aged 59 of 1 South 16th Street died Sunday at Jefferson Memorial Hospital after a four week illness. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. in Myers Chapel with Rev. O E Strout and Rev. John Hurt officiating. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery. She was born March 1898 in Mt. Vernon, married Earl C. Vaughn in 1920, and is survived by her husband, son Raymond Grant of Mt. Vernon, and brother Bennie May of Houston. She was a member of the Nazarene church.

Owens was a World War I veteran born February 12, 1887 in Jefferson County, son of John Edward and Louisa Jane Owens. He is survived by one sister, Effie Huston of Mt. Vernon. Parents, a brother and a sister preceded him in death.

Richview Road Accident Injures Three Teens
