Mt Vernon Man Sentenced 2 to 6 Years for Burglary
A 22 year old Mt. Vernon man Douglas Wilbur and a 24 year old Woodlawn man William Phelps appeared in circuit court for sentencing after their April 12 burglary conviction of a building owned by Melvin Ballard Route 4. Wilbur received a two to six year prison term with credit for time served in Jefferson county jail. Phelps was ordered to undergo a physical and mental examination before sentencing.
