Funeral service for Dan Grace a longtime McLeansboro resident will be held at 9 a m Wednesday at St Clements church. Burial follows in the Catholic cemetery. Grace died yesterday at 74 native of Hamilton county son of James and Ellen Grace. He worked many years in flour milling and was never married. Survived by sister Mrs John Dale Sr of Mt Vernon.

Charley Panzier 63 Dies of Heart Attack at Home
Charley Panzier 63 died yesterday at his home in Blissville township north of Woodlawn from a heart attack. He was a C B and Q railroad section worker. The Waltonville Methodist church service is Wednesday at 2 00 p m with Rev Marsh Harpole officiating. Burial will be in Zion cemetery near Ashley. He was born January 7 1891 in Jefferson county to Theodore and Elizabeth Bain Panzier. He married Ruth Pittman August 8 1918, who survives, along with six sons and three daughters, 160 grandchildren, two brothers Ed and Bill, and other relatives. He was preceded by his parents one brother and one sister.

San Jose California report says Gary Crosby, 20, son of Bing Crosby, was slightly hurt in a two car crash that killed a Mexican national and injured six others. Crosby’s nose and leg were injured but not badly. Jesus Hernandez was the other driver. Felix Oliveras, 24, a farm laborer, died. Highway patrol said neither driver was to blame.

California Man Killed In Auto Truck Crash Near Vienna
A Downey resident Nick Biggs, 46, died after a late Monday crash three miles west of Vienna Illinois on State Route 146. He had been visiting relatives in Franklin County. The truck driver escaped serious injuries. Biggs died hours later in Anna City Hospital.
