Six year old David Ray Davenport of 1716 Cherry street suffered non serious injuries after walking into the path of a car at 17th and Broadway. The vehicle was driven by Lyle R. Kimberley, 27, of Bloomington Illinois. The boy received treatment at a doctor’s office. An earlier accident at lth and Jordan involved Lloyd M. Marlow, 70, of Bluford and Lyle H. Heinzman, 62, of 1119 Maple street. The Marlow car sustained about 75 dollars damage. the Heinzman car over 100 dollars. Marlow was charged with failure to yield right of way.
