First Lieutenant Bettie Hosick, daughter of Mrs. Carrie Hosick of Mt. Vernon, has joined the nursing staff at Walter Reed General Hospital. Born in Jennings Oklahoma and a Tri-State Hospital Shreveport graduate, she previously headed Charity Hospital of Louisiana in New Orleans before entering the Army Nurse Corps at Fort Sam Houston in 1942. She has psychiatric nursing experience at Fort Benning, the 24th General Hospital in Africa and Italy, and Brooke General Hospital.
