Body at Inn Funeral Home after 4 p m Friday. Survived by three sons Delbert Henry Allen. two daughters Florence Hutchison and Lela Arnold. 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Born Sept 4 1875 in Warren County Kentucky. married Charles M. Richards Mar 20 1900. He preceded her in death July 2 1953. She also was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters and one great grandchild.

Survived by wife, one daughter Patricia Bentrup of St Joseph Missouri, two sisters Maude Waters and Linnie Mangus, and two grandchildren. Woman plans solo voyage to Hawaii in small sloop

Sharon Sites, 34, aims to be the first woman to sail solo from California to Hawaii, a 2225 mile trip starting June 12. She has only three months of lessons and will travel with her pet turtle Sara Beth-Ann aboard the 2 foot sloop Sea Sharp. She will carry no radio or electronic gear and says she does not want to talk to anyone.

The Jefferson county veteran reunion at City Park features Queen candidates in bathing suits on the park stage with no evening dress or talent show. Chairman Purcell invites area businesses and organizations to enter a Legion queen candidate at no charge. An amateur contest opens Tuesday night, June 29, with two age divisions. Conley Blankenship Sentenced to Six Months at State Farm

Conley Blankenship Jr., 42, of 813 South 17th Street, was sentenced to six months at the State Farm in Vandalia after a circuit court hearing. Police had arrested him May 14 on charges of stealing items from parked cars near Hotel Emmerson, and a petition to revoke his probation was granted.

Fire destroyed the Lindell Products Co building in Hannibal Missouri on Wednesday night. A large explosion of paint and lacquer followed shortly after the fire began. No injuries were reported. Lindell Products is a subsidiary of the Quincy Speaker Co in Quincy Illinois.

In Chicago the Illinois State Medical Society voted to table any decision on participating in federal health care programs until its May 1966 meeting.
