He was born September 17 1893 in Pike county Indiana, married to Della Pigg in 1916.

Men 71 76 Fight Ends in Death in Eldorado
In Eldorado Saline County Bennie Morris a 76 year old retired farmer and miner died after a fist fight with Clyde Koker a 71 year old retired farmer and miner. State's Attorney Robert Wilson said he plans to file manslaughter charges based on a signed statement by Koker admitting he knocked Morris down and possibly kicked him. An autopsy is scheduled. Morris leaves a separated widow and five children.
